I took the plunge into tabletop miniature wargaming in the summer of 2008. I found it a great compliment to my interest in military history and an amazing hobby overall. My primary focus over the last year has been in the game Flames of War, which is a WWII miniatures game designed by Battlefront.
I plan on expanding over the years into other historical periods such as the 100 years war, American Civil War, Might of Arms, Field of Glory rule set, Volley and Bayonets, Victory at Sea, Check Your Six air combat, and whatever else makes my fancy!
As a blog, I plan on bringing to light what my son and I have worked on, the battles these little lead and plastic soldiers make, plus some other interests. Enjoy!

You can mix them. Flashpoint miniatures are a bit bigger than Peter Pig, but not too much. I have mixed some in this photo.
Not the best photo, but the Flashpoints guys are in the berets and the Peter Pig are in the boonie hats.
